Maybe they'll get it right one day... and the food wasn't the problem, my Avocado omelet was good (with cheddar, tomatoes and onions), served warm and the coffee was also strong enough (which can be a problem in those restaurants). No, what they could improve is, in a nearly empty ... restaurant, the flow and rapidity of service. It took two times asking for coffee to get it, and it's a standard in any breakfast restaurant : making sure your clients get coffee shortly after seated. The same was true about menus. Fortunately, everything that followed was done with a smile and a better sense of timing. I am pained to say that I must give this restaurant a one star review, as that is too high of a rating for this place. I have never left so dissatisfied with a meal in my life. My girlfriend and I decided to try this place after I saw ... it had high ratings and seemingly good presentation from the pictures. Unfortunately for us, this was all lies. Each of us ordered a plate for 13.50. The first was called the Gourmand which was supposed to have: Two eggs, potatoes, sausage, bacon, ham, feve au lard, two crepes and a mountain of fruit. In reality there was a problem with every part of the dish. The eggs were overcooked, the bacon was overcooked, the ham was salty and fatty. The feve au lard was in fact clearly canned backed beans. The 'mountain of fruit' was just an unripe slice of pineapple, an unripe slice of small cantaloupe, and an unripe orange slice. Finally the two crepes were extremely small, came with chocolate that was not on the menu, cooked terribly so they were basically rubber, and came with no syrup. The next plate was called the popeye coming with: two eggs, sausage, spinach crepe, topped with cheddar cheese, and a normal portion of fruit. This time the crepe suffered the same problem as the last plate while not being hot enough to melt any of the cheese which was haphazardly thrown on top. The portion of fruit was the exact same as the supposed 'mountain' from the other dish and just as bad. When we gave these complaints to the waitress all she could say was "we have never had these kinds of complaints before". Well here is your first, this was the worst meal I've ever had. Great place for a decent brunch at a very reasonable price. Benedictine sauce is a bit salty thought fruits were delicious even now in October. They have parking which is nice too.

Went today to try their breakfast (newly opened). This place has GREAT potential but seems all employees are still adjusting and aren't quite in control of how fast-paced a breakfast place needs to be (I believe the resto turns into a sushi resto in the evening). They served ... me my coffee without a spoon (to stir the milk and sugar) and I overheard other costumers also ask for spoons after they were served their coffee. Also, my boyfriend and I noticed that all other customers had these cute little smoothies... When I inquired about it, they said they forgot to give us our free little smoothie that comes with the meal (it was DELICIOUS). When there was no more milk for my coffee at my table, I asked the waitress for more who apologized and said she was too busy to get me more, but asked me to just grab a few from the table next to me. The waitress also spilled a lot of water on our table as she was filling our glasses and my boyfriend had to ask her to come back to wipe it off because there was a pretty big puddle. And our table was wobbling so much I had to keep my coffee and water on the table next to me so it wouldn't spill. We were really unimpressed at this point, but then, our food came out VERY QUICKLY and IT WAS DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!! I feel like this place just needs some time to adjust and get on it's feet. The location is great, there is FREE parking, the prices are fair, the food was DELICIOUS, service was fast and all staff was pleasant/nice despite being seemingly overwhelmed and a bit lost. We will definitely come back and hope that they will have improved their service and fixed their wobbly tables. The coconut milkshake is highly recommended!!!!! Worst service ever. Waited 45min for 2 smoothies, after 1hr I asked what happened to our order and we got an excuse about how someone ordered the same 2 dishes as us and that's why it's late. Very dissatisfied. If you forget an order just say so, I get less ... mad about that than lying to my face. Read more
