[lunch experience] Before coming in, I wondered why this place is not much more popular for lunch time: this terrace is probably one of the most beautiful of Old Montréal. Cozy, sunny, intimate. Then I uderstood why it's not more popular: the experience is ruined by incredibly slow service and more than ... average food. Horrible, not edible. I went for Mtl a table 2014 event. The onion soup was just warm and a few pieces of cheese. The fish dish was flavourless, the quinoa was marinated with too much butter and salty and I wasn't able to eat the veggies because they were hard. ... On the other hand, their dessert was good. Posh restaurant in an ancient bourgeois house: traditional dining rooms with beautiful fireplaces, busts of stuffed animals, huge chandeliers, patio with exotic plants and birds. Fine European cuisine, neat and perfectly executed.
