The atmosphere could be a bit better and the waiters are not « french » at all... but the food is good although slightly on the pricier side. The portions are generous. Ate here while vacation in Montreal. Nice place where the food comes first. Delicious. Everything great. Marinated chicken was fantastic. Dessert was even better. Service was patient and friendly to two vacationing tanks. Much appreciated, we will go back every time in Montreal. Worth the trip.

I enjoyed two dinner meals at Le GC last week while visiting Montreal. I ordered a take out salad with grilled chicken the first night. It was fresh and delicious. The second night , my husband and I dined in. I ordered the poached salmon with rice and steamed vegetables, ... which I thoroughly enjoyed. We ate inside on a Friday night and it was quiet and relaxing. Great service and lovely atmosphere. I highly recommend it! Read more

Brought my coworkers here after seeing the reviews for the place. I had the blood sausage and it wasn't bad, but at the same time kinda boring. Three of my coworkers had the daily special shrimp salad and didn't finish their meals. The water tasted a bit strange. The service ... wasn't the greatest either, our waiter didn't explain the menu and just rushed us into ordering without informing us some of the mains came with soups and salad. A bit expensive for what you get. All in all, can't really recommend it. Read more
