Definitely had a good time. Good for big groups, call ahead. Very good food, basic Italian food. Fast service and friendly, but I wasn't blown away. I definitely liked the top floor over the street. Keep it up would recommend.
The service and food here were both great. We brought our own wine which was very convenient since the SAQ is directly across the street. The restaurant is located in a lovely and scenic part of the city. We ordered the veal tortellini, lamb, and salmon tartar. Our appetizers were ... calamari and Italian sausages. The lamb was served with vegetables and potatoes. The salmon was served with a Mediterranean salad, French fries, and crispy toasted buttered slices of bread. The tartar was well prepared with great seasoning and was a highlight of the meal. Read more
It was Sophie's choice looking for an Italian restraunt in this neighborhood. From where we ate we could have hit half a dozen other Italian restraunts with a rock. The place was clean, the up stairs dining room offered a good view...if only of other Italian restraunts and people that ... couldn't parallel park. The service was pleasant and quick and the prices were reasonable. This is a byob(bring your own bottle) restraunt, most in this area seem to be. I'm not sure if anything beyond wine is permitted, but when we declined to run across the street and pick up a bottle of wine at the store for dinner, the waiter looked at us like we had an ear growing out of our forehead...the french! It was the seafood tagliatelle that made us choose this restraunt, basically everything my wife loves on one plate. I tried the veal parm(save your criticism, I hate myself for it, I hadn't had veal in 20 years since seeing a veal farm) The food was across the board underseasoned. The pasta, the sauces, the meats all of it needed salt. Pretty disappointing of all foods, I don't think any food suffers more than Italian when underseasoned before getting to the table. Read more
Very nice place. Service is good and the food is very tasty. The menu is varied with lots of healthy and tasty options. Recomended
This place is maybe the best Italian place I've ever been to. I ordered muscles because they are known to have the best and I also ordered alfredo and my sister and I split both. We both thought they were AMAZING! The pasta was cooked perfectly the sauce was perfect. ... The mussels were fresh and flavorful and the sauce they were in was fantastic. We dipped our bread in it. They also have some of the best fries I've ever had. Our server was fantastic. No complaints about anything. Would tell everyone to check it out and I would come back here for sure if I visited Montreal again. Read more
