There is very little that is bad at Double Pizza. I rate the chain highly for its consistency, quality of ingredients, take out packaging and generally tasty food. Their hot dogs on sesame bun and laterly their French fries and gravy are my favs but occasionally I will indulge in a ... pizza in this case because a medium with one topping was on special for $5.99. It's not a designer pizza but acceptable by most standards. Not oily and the dough is light in taste. I tend to be set in my preferences though the menu keeps expanding, The fried chicken, the poutine and the subs are popular but untried as far as this review is concerned. Worth trying Read more
While the pizza and poutine can be decent (sometimes), the service is absolutely atrocious. The employee took about three minutes eating BEFORE serving me and my friend. I live on the street, I've been there several times and the service has ALWAYS sucked. No Hi, no Thank You, no smile, ... no nothing, it's pretty bad. I hope that this Double Pizza will someday be replaced by another DECENT pizza shop. I don't ask for much. I just want a fast service, a Hello, a Thank you and a Goodbye. Used to be a good place. But now you have the worst staff ever. No customer service at all especially the guy with glasses. Like Aglaée Hamel i decided to leave and to go to Pizza Pizza which is right in front. Friendly , nice and quick. They should learn ... Pizza Pizza culture. Read more
Used to be good, until they realized they have a monopoly on pizza around the metro station. Food is decent, but nothing to write home about. Service is the real issue as it is both long and bad. Some cashiers would dump all your change into their tips mug, (isn't ... that illegal?) Website says opens at 10, went there at 10.40 till closed. Now a pizza pizza is opening across the street, maybe some competition would wake them up. Read more
