Great hotel. Rooms are designed smart even if a bit smallish. Everything is comfortable. Service is impeccable. Very good experience. Wish the pool was bigger. It’s a tiny shallow pool. I just spent a week at this hotel. My first time in Montreal and I absolutely loved the city and this location was super convenient. As someone who prefers trains and busses to driving my own car it was a great central base from which to explore. Also they are ... dog friendly which is a great plus since I always have my dog with me. It was a nice comfortable room, my only complaint being that they didn't provide a refrigerator only a machine that sells drinks at a very steep markup which I know was high-class in the 80s but this is 2024 so it just feels super tacky, not befitting a "4-star hotel" but I still give them 5 stars because everything else including the friendly staff was perfect. Happy to report that the situation has been corrected. The person working late night last night must have not read details of the reservation. Was relocated to a room that I had reserved. Quieter. Better view with all amenities that are consistent with the brand. Love the ground floor with ... the dinning and drinking options. More to come during this short stay at Fairmont. Read more

Our rooms were clean but my only complaint is the inability to utilize the fridge as they stock it up quite full and if you move even one item, you will be charged. We got some salmon spread from the local bagel place and nowhere to store it in fridge. ... We had to rent one for $25/night. That’s not nice. We were extremely pleased with everything this hotel had to offer. The service was unparalleled in every way. The staff couldn't have been any more helpful. The best hotel service we've ever had.
