The poulet Empanada's were awesome! The rest was okay. I didn't like the lentil soup

I only bought the home made spicy and vegetarian Samossas here and they were surprisingly tasty! Le Tartarin doesn't exactly look inviting to sit down there, but it's fine for take-away.

A varied and well-prepared menu. Impeccable service with a warm atmosphere at the Jean Talon market. The essentials are on the plate with an obvious professional touch. Simply very good.

I had the tourtière with potage aux légumes and it was quite good. Other reviews complain about the lack of taste, but I enjoyed the flavors without the extra sodium. A homey and satisfying meal. Service is slow though. The chef does all the asking, cooking and plating. The cashier is ... idling and another person is doing mise en place. Would be far more efficient if the latter person were to help the main chef in some way. Read more

The restaurand is conveniently located inside Jean-Talon market. I ordered a Salade Niceoise which comes with a vegetable soup. The soup was ok, and the salad was fresh. The tables however was dirty, and no one there to clean them.
