Great bar/lounge! Such a shame it's closing before I could spend more time at it.

Luwan is a really fun and versatile place. There are two things that I specifically like about the bar: the music and the drinks. They organize parties that range in music, from Old School Rap/R&B/Reggae/Latin Music/Deep House/K-Pop/etc. The staff is super friendly and they're really open-minded about hosting a ton ... of different events. It's nice to get away from the Top 40s like other clubs in Montreal. In terms of drinks, they have a list of homemade cocktails which are always made of fresh ingredients. My favourite is the "Pink Flamingo" which from what I remember is a mix of gin, cucumber, raspberries and lime. I do agree that the bar doesn't get as much attention as it deserves, but knowing the location/how new it is, I have no doubt that it'll pick up quickly. Read more

Awesome bar. dark, cool, loungy, and music is great. Drinks are well mixed and its very cozy. 5 stars!!!

Great bar with a nice touch in the heart of Chinatown! Don't forget to try their amazing cocktails!
