Typically, Second Cup earns higher ratings, but unfortunately, this particular location is subpar. The cleanliness is severely lacking, giving off a rundown vibe. When you're marketing premium products, maintaining a clean environment should be a priority. Disappointingly, there hasn't been any noticeable improvement over the past year. Furthermore, the attitude of ... one of the female workers is quite unpleasant. She consistently wears a mask, which is commendable for safety, but her demeanor is rude, often behaving as if she owns the place. In a recent incident, I ordered a coffee, a scone, and a cup of hot water. To my surprise, they charged me an extra dollar for the hot water, which is usually provided for free at other coffee shops, according to Second Cup's policy on refills for paying customers. Later, when I requested a refill of hot water in the same cup, the same worker rudely insisted on charging me again, refusing to provide the refill for free. I cannot really say I ever understood the appeal of coffee shops, sitting there for hours on a computer, sipping a drink. Given I am not a coffee drinker, but we stopped by on a rainy day as we needed an outing. Everything was fairly good, the hot chocolate, the ... juices and snacks for the kids. But similar to any other chain. My main issue is that I asked for a glass cup, I cannot believe that everyone, even when eating in, has a throw away cup, but turns out, there are no glasses, you must take a throw away cup and there is no incentive to bring your own mug or thermos (if you are even allowed). Plus there is no recycling or compost. I really hate when leading companies chose to do nothing, when others chose to lead change. And all these coffee shops are the same. Thus until this changes, I do not think I will enter another chain coffee shop, Second Cup or other. Read more

Literally can’t understand how this place is still open. It is absolutely disgusting. Pastries are not just stale but literally permeated with mould as this cookie I just bought. There is never enough staff, and those who are there are barely concerned with serving the customers and never seem to ... be able to make a latter even just barely correctly. Bathrooms are gross beyond words. And the most shocking thing is this place has been this way for years. I rarely make reviews but this is a case that just begs for it. So bad. Read more

This is my favorite Second Cup. The Barista make a really good drinks they make them like no other Second Cup, this is why you need a good Barista to pull shots. just amazing the cashier have good smile when I walk in. now can i have a 5 caramel corretto lol. Not anymore ... I’ve been going more and every time the coffee what I used to get is so bad money in the garbage. Sadly not going anymore or recommend it to anyone. Read more

I love this location of second cup. It’s a cozy and warm place with cute little kids section. Staff is friendly. You have the option to get paper/ mug if you want to take out/sit and have coffee. My fav is pumpkin spice even though I am not a big ... fan of cinnamon. Just love this latte. London fog and carrot caramel are also nice flavours. Read more
