Excellent coffee and yummy treats too. Any Aussie looking for a real Flat White or Cuppuccino need look no further. Note servings are cup size not the Aussie mug but the flavour and foam are perfect 👍. As with all the best cafes it is small but cosy.

Great espresso in the neighborhood isn’t easy to come by. Pourquoi Pas has become a definite go-to when in need of an espresso/cortado/cappuccino fix. Even though they frequently experiment with different beans, their shots’ excellent quality is consistent. Espresso-based drinks being at the forefront of their offer, I do command ... the fact that they seem to cherry-pick their barista staff based on their skills. I have on a few occasions had my drink redone (without me asking) because the barista wasn’t 100% satisfied with the end result. This is to show the level of care and dedication to simply pulling excellent coffee that I’m used to there. Even though the place is small, it is pretty cosy and usually not overcrowded. Definitely appropriate to read a book or work on your laptop. Read more

the corner shop is nice. pretty quiet and good for working! i particularly appreciated the drawings and illustrations. the cappuccino i got was very sour though.

Small little café on Atataken, delicious Americano, and very good pumpkin spice latte (when in season of course). The café is on the small side with roughly 5 to 10 places to sit. We especially like the row of chairs facing the street. We’ve been here before and enjoyed our ... hot cup of coffee indoors. This time we took our coffee’s to go. There’s a nice patio in front on the street during the summertime. we noticed they had scones and sweet treats, which we will definitely go back to try at a later time. As mentioned in the parking notes, it’s best to find parking Atataken or again on Maisonneuve street. Read more
