Great food and a unique Montreal atmosphere, sad that it'll close this month but I'm glad I got to try this Montreal institution

Super happy for the owners that they’re closing this chapter on a high note. That said, I went back for the first time today after what must be at least 15 years, and I must say the subs are a fraction of the size of their « ancestors », and cost 24$ plus ... tax+tip!!! 30 dollars for a sub that doesn’t even fill you up??!! This used to be one of my favorite place as a child and would visit a few times a month. The sausage sub is a classic and has been for over 30 years now. Simple and delicious. Best sub you have ever eaten! And the moment you step in, you are greeted with a friendly hello! And they treat you like family. Amazing service and amazing food! The ingredients are fresh, the steak in the steak sub is tender and fresh and good quality meat.
