Coffee was very good. A couple of lattes and chais tasted top notch. Barista very friendly and loves his craft. Odd atmosphere having half the space as a launderrmat but keep your eyes front and you'll be fine just enjoying your coffee. Coffee worth the trip.

I've actually BEEN there. Read below for context on all the negative reviews The coffee was pretty good. The owner made my friend a hot chocolate even though it wasn't on the menu. And if the hippie-hipster ambiance is your thing, you'll enjoy the place. Wasn't ours, ... hence the 3 stars, but it's a decent place to grab a cup of Joe and read or study. CONTEXT ON NEGATIVE REVIEWS: you'll notice most negative reviews were written at about the same time, following the visit of "pick-up blogger" Roosh V to Montreal. Look him up and you'll find all the 'nice' things he has to say about women and assault, etc. The owner took a picture of him, posted it to Instagram, and invited his detractors to come give him a piece of their mind. Fans of Roosh V have been rallying to give the café a bad name ever since. A restaurant review should be posted by someone who HAS been to the the establishment. It should be about the food/service you have PERSONALLY eaten/experienced. And should a cluster of bad reviews, even of food and service, all appear at the same time... think "agenda". Read more

Psychotic manager with mental health issues, posts pictures of paying customers online and invites people to come and violently harass them simply because he doesn't have the same political views as them. Went by myself to check this place out and the guy behind the counter has a real psychopathic ... glint in his eye. It wouldn't surprise me if he contaminates the food of people he doesn't like the look of. It's a shame because the decor is nice and the food and drinks are of good quality. However posting pictures of a customer online and inviting people to harass him is just a step too far in my opinion. The owner seems to have forgotten that he is a cafe owner and not a member of the politburo, if he has a problem with a customer a simple "your business is not welcome here" would suffice. Instead this coward puts on a fake smile, takes your money, then puts you in physical danger by posting pictures of you online with a request for people to harass you. Lunatic, mentally ill owner. Hot chocolate wasn't on the menu, but the owner himself pulled one together for me anyway. Even had maple syrup and all the good stuff. The cafe is in a neat space, too (there's a cool little laundromat/gallery in the back). And I only stayed a few minutes, but it ... also looks like it might be a great place to sit down and really get some stuff done while keeping the caffeine levels up. Strongly recommend. Read more
