Café Olimpico - Montreal, Quebec

I had been familiar with Cafe Olimpico from other locations but I gotta say after a single visit to the Mile End location, it's certainly a step up. The service was both efficient and friendly despite it being quite crowded. The menu had plenty of variety from beverages to desserts and although I ... went only for a coffee, the desserts did look delicious. If you haven't tried a cafe crema before, that would easily be my first recommendation. The ambiance was great as well. There was plenty of space for seating (again, considering how crowded it was). There were also a few sporting matches across some multiple large screens and an even bigger projector. It was a pretty admirable viewing experience even though I didn't go specifically for those matches. I don't frequent the Mile End area due to the parking situation, however I would certainly visit Cafe Olimpico on any occasion I do end up in the area. Read more

I see why everyone’s recommending this coffee shop and saying it’s the best coffee in Montreal. I agree now! Their coffee has depth in taste and aroma. I hate sour tastes but olimpico’s was so amazing. I enjoyed so much. Also the staff there was super friendly and helpful. I ended ... up ordering two cups of coffee- caffe mocha and cafe remix. Bought tiramisu and pistachio chocolate as well because the staff recommended 😂 Havent tried the tiramisu and chocolate yet but i can assure they are also all good since their coffee was excellent 💖 I would def come back again. The other two location was PACKED with ppl with endless long line ups. And the stores were so tiny and small. Especially the one near Mcgill univ one was just unbelievably small i didnt want to go inside. The seats were empty but it looked impossible to sit there and enjoy/relax. Go to the mid town one! I loved the esthetic of the café & the vibes during a football match. They have a variety of deserts and would go great with whichever coffee you choose to get. I've tried their freddo latte, it was great. I'm planning on going back to try other coffee options on ... their menu. Read more

I honestly only have good things to say about this place! There was a bit of a line but it moved quickly! The service was so friendly and everyone was working together and in a good mood! Such a hidden gem in this bustling city! Welcoming and friendly staff immediately made me feel at home sending my struggles with speaking French, without hesitation they started talking to me in English and even shared some laughs with me when I requested oak milk for my dietary requirements! ...
