Thai Pho - Montreal, Quebec

This restaurant is still running under the name "Sushi St-Catherine" I discovered it from the Visa transaction receipt. What I saw recently is as of following: I was there on September 7th, 2014. The manager started screaming at a client who was unhappy because of facing 45 mins of delay between ... making the order and getting the food. The manager screamed at him and said "Get out of my restaurant"; he pushed them to the cash and forced them to pay for the food they did not even touch! Our food was brought late too and we did not get all that we ordered, but what I saw was unacceptable. I am pretty sure the clients will sue the restaurant. When we ordered, there was like... 3 menus. Very confusing. When we got our food, it was luke-warm, and we had to ask for plates (we were sharing). I got some kind of shrimp noodle dish...it came in a giant bowl - noodles were cooked separately, really bland...bunch of lettuce ... and carrots on top in separate piles, then shrimp on skewers. We have never had such issues getting noodles in our lives! It started with issues of false advertising(the picture being nothing like what we got). We paid $1 per basic shrimp which was supposed to come with shish-kebab style--peppers/onion etc. BUT came with 2 shrimp per skewer ($8). Argued with ... the waiter about 15 mins about how to get noodles that werent fried/dry but to no avail. Ate our shrimp plain since we couldnt get anything added (they werent allowed to bring basic noodles to our table and WE would mix our own food!!!) Manager finally came after asking twice, and after 10 minutes of explaining about false advertising and the noodle issue he discounted us a whole 10% on the shrimp...We saved 80 cents!!!! WOO!?!? Overall, first and last time we'll be going there. Could of been nice and enjoyable if not such ridiculous kitchen rules---customers should be first and this staff does not understand that policy.
