Great little Jamaican restaurant. Been around many years , the couple that owns it a nice friendly people. Place is exceptionally clean .food is like home made food , and you get a very generous plate for what you pay. Everything is always fresh as its cooked daily.

the sign says you can have the oxtail with or without bone so when i asked for it boneless the man told me it already came like that… what do i see when i get home ? a mediocre amount of meat with HUMONGOUS bones for 25$! amazing !! i ... mean it’s fine if that’s how you serve it but maybe i would’ve picked something else ? also the meat and rice was not tasty at all and i’m not a picky eater should i also mentioned that the guy at the cash literally wouldn’t tell me the size of the doubles and directed me to the picture as if it was a proper example. rude, expensive and misleading Read more
I’ve always wanted to stop at this restaurant and haven’t gotten the chance because either they were closed or I didn’t have time cuz I was on the way to an appointment or something. Today august 2nd at 6pm I was stuck in horrible traffic on our famous decarie and ... at last second saw the exit and pulled a massive fast and furious move and got the exit and so glad I did. I parked right in front and walked in to this small little front of restaurant and the kindest elder lady came out from the back to serve me. I ordered 2 original doubles and one chicken double and a macaroni salad. I’m absolutely in love. I can’t tell u how amazing the food was it is in my top 3 Caribbean food in Montreal and the surroundings. I can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu I promise I will.
