La Banquise was a top recommendation for trying the famous Quebec poutine. We went on an early Wednesday evening and thankfully did not see any wait times. This was one of the best restaurants we went to on our trip 🤤 I will probably dream of these poutines for quite some time. We got 3 poutines to share between the 4 of us, and I don't know which was my favorite. We got the Sud-Ouest, the Scooby, ... and the Royal. This place was almost always the number one mention for poutine in Montreal, so we had to check it out. The food was very delicious. I generally don’t like poutine, but these modified versions were fantastic. We ordered the La Festival, La Panoramix, and onion rings—highly recommended. Best poutine we had during our visit in Montreal. Everyone was so accommodating. The place was full of energy. It can get crowded at times but the food was totally worth it. I now know my go-to poutine when visiting Montreal.
