Food quality 4/5 Menu and ordering 4/5 Delivery 1/5 Customer Service 2/5 Overall 3/5 I’ve used Avec Plaisir 3 times in the past year. The last time I used them (March 2024) was for a large dinner i was organizing with clients. I placed the order ($1000) online and asked for a 5pm ... delivery time. I called the company during the day of my event to make sure the food would arrive by 5pm. I was told there was no guarantee that it would arrive on time. This surprised me as I had placed the order a few days before. It was critical for the food to arrive on time. The customer rep I spoke to on the phone gave me an after-hours emergency delivery phone number to track the delivery. Once 5pm hit, the food had not arrived yet so I called half a dozen times. My calls and texts went unanswered, leaving me very frustrated and confused. Not to mention I had over 12 clients asking where the food was. Finally the food showed up at 5:50pm. Unfortunately by then, people started to leave. I told the driver that this was unprofessional and unacceptable. His excuse to me was that he got lost but that wasn’t believable. I asked why he didn’t return my phone calls or answer my text and his answer was he never received them I then sent the company two emails Explaining the entire situation in detail, and have yet to receive a response. For a celebration of 45 pers. we ordered several buffets w/seafood, salmon salads, filet mignon salads, one extra dessert plate and 2 fruit salads. Everything was really delicious & our guests were very pleased. My only regret; I should have ordered a lot more desserts, they were so popular, they ... disappeared too fast!!! Read more
In general the food is okay, but for some reason the Isabelle’s Chicken meal is burned 4 times out of 5. Is it a signature recipe? :)
