Water was very good. After waiting an hour for our meals, we decided to leave, then we learned our order has been lost. We ended up waiting 1h30 for grilled cheese, but we got a 25% rebate.

I went there for lunch around 1 pm and was very disappointed. It took a very long time until I was served, maybe because I was alone. Anyway, people who came in after me were asked for their order and served sooner. Turns out that most of the soups were ... already sold out at that time. They offered me the vegetarian chili con carne instead for the same price. The herbal cheese toast had a very plane taste and is overpriced. It was a cold snowy day today in Montreal and I wanted nothing more than a yummy hot bowl of soup for lunch. I have walked past this place several times and was saving it for a day like today when I had a hankering for comfort food. The restaurant has a ... nice ambiance and the staff are pleasant, but the food was just terrible. The soups were bland and the two slices of cheese on my grilled cheese were not only un-melted, but they were actually cold. I'm sorry, but if your specialty is soup and grilled cheese, then they should both be amazing. They were both pretty gross. Also, when we tried to pay, the interac machine wasn't working, so I was asked to walk across the restaurant to pay at a different machine, but then walked back to the register, and then after trying a 3rd time I was asked to pay by credit or cash, neither of which I had wanted to do.
