The vibes on this boat are really next level. I almost don't want to review it because I secretly want it to remain a *hidden* gem. The drinks are really refreshing and lovely prepared. The $19 Aperol spritz is not as overpriced as it seems. I didn't try the food ... but I'm sure it's great. Would be amazing to rent it out for a party. Honestly, this is such a unique place, and I loved every second of it when I went there for a date! It was a rainy evening, and there was one other group sitting in the back having a good time. The whole aesthetic at that moment felt like it was ... from a Hallmark movie, with the rain splashing on the window, sitting across from a pretty girl sipping her rum cocktail, and the lighting that brought a sense of comfort and nostalgia for something you lost but never had. The drinks were reasonably priced and delicious. I’ve paid $40 for drinks that weren’t even half as good as these. I met the owner too, and he was really sweet, explaining the history behind the place. I want this place to be a super hot spot, but for my own selfish reasons, I wish it stays our little secret. Went to Canal Lounge with friends on a recent trip to Montreal. We hit the market up first and then did the extremely short walk over to Canal Lounge. It is situated on a dock right in the canal. We were greated by the owner at the top of the ... dock who was kind enough to snap some pictures of our group. We started off inside the boat but noticed an upper roof top patio area big enough to accommodate 4 people and asked our server of we could sit up their. He abliged and said it was one of the most sought after seats. They started us with water while we waited for our cocktails. I ordered the sea breeze to start. It was an excellent choice for a warm summers day. Very refreshing, flavourful, not too boozy and had chunks of frozen fruit along with the ice. It prompted my friends to order one for their second drink. I got a beer for drink 2. The views are great and it is a cool spot to watch the afternoon go by while enjoying a drink. Service was excellent and I would return on a future visit to Montreal. Make this a destination on your trip to Montreal. Read more

I'd recommend this bar to anyone looking for a nice drink on a boat during the evening! Service is great and the drinks and well priced. The ambiance is nice and when it's warm out it doesn't feel to hot in the boat and there's plenty of space. You have the ... chance to sit on the outside of the boat but those spots are limited. You may find yourself waiting in line to get on the host boat at times but they aren't too long. If you have to use the washroom, I'd recommend going before entering as they do have a bathroom but only good for peeing. Read more
