Cafe Parvis - Montreal, Quebec

I live in U.S. over 10 years. Never had amazing pizza in U.S. (There's just OK pizza. ) I was very happy to have such a tasty pizza!!

Really nice brunch place. The place is cosy and the food is quite nice! Nonetheless some dishes are better than others! I would still recommend going there

Café Parvis is an excellent spot for a date or to meet with friends. They have different areas and settings some more private than others. I was looking for a cafe to work from and found this location with assumption of a coffee shop. It turned out be more of a a ... restaurant with no table as working space. We had a show nearby and stopped for brunch. Reservations recommended. Lovely art deco style cafe. The menu is amazing, there was at 5-6 items we could have picked. I went for the gnocchi with wild mushrooms and hollandaise sauce, my +1 went for the salmon rillette. Everything was absolutely perfect. Even ... the bread from a top notch bakery, every bite was flavorful, perfectly seasoned and balanced. Service was friendly and efficient. Boozy brunch options are available, we surprisingly didn't go that route this time around but I'll definitely return. Portion sizes were good, prices were on par with most brunch places in town, expect to pay in the 20-30$ range per person, more if you throw in booze. We tried to visit this restaurant during the summer, and we were turned away because the restaurant was full. That being said, we took a chance when we returned for a breakfast brunch. Upon arrival, we were asked if we had a reservation which we said no. This time they ... did not turn us away they brought us upstairs to the second level and sat on what they call a communal table which would be shared with other groups if they arrived without reservations as well. we were fine with this option so we decided to stay. we ordered the pizza and the crispy pork belly as well as a latte and Americano. The service was good. We really like the interior vibe and decor. There is a constant humming of people talking and the energy is quite impressive. Although we would’ve liked our own table, the communal table served its purpose. we enjoyed our meal and we would definitely return to see what else they have on the menu. That is tasty and delicious. The restaurant is a little difficult as the street is under some sort of major renovation . With respect to Parking, keep in mind, your downtown Montreal so either try to find some street parking which is paid unless on a Sunday before noon it’s free. Otherwise if you’re planning on spending the day, consider finding a paid parking lot. Read more
