I visited that café in an early morning. At first, I really didn’t like the atmosphere. It was sloppy and messy. But in the end, coffee is what mostly brings you in. I was so disappointed. I really expected more. The espresso shot in my latte tasted slightly burnt with a ... weak coffee body and a slightly bitter taste. I tried their drip coffee and it had an average taste. The decor and vibe is this cafe is definitely top notch, as are the guys behind the counter. The problem, however, is the coffee which is wildly inconsistent. Order a flat white and it is inoffensive and drinkable. Order an allongé however and you will question how the same coffee ... can achieve such metallic and unpleasant notes… it's remarkable.
