I’ve been to many bars and lounges and my experience at this one was by far the absolute worst. I went for drinks with a friend after work & we got some appetizers, calamari’s and chicken wings to be specific. The calamari was alright but the chicken wings were absolutely ... disgusting. I had one and my friend had 2 but we quite literally could not stomach it. We asked the waiter if we can switch the chicken wings to something else but he said no. We said that is perfectly fine and understandable but that we just would not eat the rest of the chicken wings. We had 3 chicken wings in total and we sent them back. We ordered a round of shots, two rounds of drinks and the calamari. When the bill came the chicken wings were still on them, we asked why the chicken wings were still on the bill when we only had 3. The waiter became very disrespectful and we asked to speak to the manager, the manager came out with a very aggressive and disrespectful energy and basically refused to remove the chicken wings from the bill. They eventually took them off the bill after a lot of back and forth, once we paid the manager told us that we were banned from coming back. My friend and I have no interest of ever going back but it was so unprofessional it took us off guard. The waiter and the manager that day definitely need mandatory training on proper costumer service because that was a terrible experience. EDIT: We ate 3 wings , if that is half the order for 1 pound of wings then you guys need to reevaluate your portions seeing as the wings are very small. My visit to this bar was a departure from my usual haunts, which was a refreshing change. I attended a work event and we reserved a section near the entrance. The ambiance is that of a casual hangout spot; nothing too fancy, so no need to dress up. The layout ... includes a terrace and a basement bar accessed via stairs. Drinks are reasonably priced, with beers going for around $8. While my vodka Redbull was a bit weak on the alcohol content, the Saint-Germain spritz and Moscow mule were decent choices. I'd recommend sticking to beer here. Most people mainly ordered burgers and fries, served generously. The music started off poorly but improved as the night went on (commerical/mainstream music). They also had basketball games playing on the TVs, which was a nice touch. Street parking is available nearby. The service at the bar was excellent; the bartender was friendly and quick to serve our drinks. However, the table service was a bit lacking, with the waitress being somewhat slow. Food was good, highly recommend the deep fried pickles. The blood orange sangria was good though the pitcher was mostly ice and didn't go very far for 3 people. I tried the outside terrace for dinner and my experience was okay. The staff was welcoming and friendly, they made a mistake with our order but fixed it right away.
