The burgers are great, especially the beef patty. And they had the best fries in downtown. Good choice for a quick lunch around McGill. Although they've been raising prices to 12-13 dollars for a combo.

Ordered two days in a row, both times didn't get the correct drink. The burgers are not amazing for that price range; The milkshakes are a joke, they are expensive and small. Delicious burgers. Their patties have a great real beef taste and are the perfect size and consistency. Juicy without being soggy, crispy without being dry, savoury without being overly fatty. They grind the meat themselves and cook the patties on an actual grill, not a flat frying surface like most ... places. Someone complained about the smell coming from the freezer, but I've been coming here often and never had a problem with the meat quality; it always has a distinctive taste of fresh beef with a bare minimum of condiments. The burger toppings are fresh and can lead to some pretty interesting combinations. They carry different cheeses such as blue cheese, goat cheese, Swiss cheese and American cheese. Their bacon is crispy and tastes great without overpowering the other tastes, giving a kick of smokiness here and there. I'm a big fan of their often recommended Bourbon burger. Not sure how it got the name but it's damn good; with their BBQ sauce, fried onions and mushrooms, bacon, cheese, and the tasty patty. Their fries are also something to write home about. Lightly battered and spiced and then fried until the exterior is crispy and the interior is cooked to perfection. I normally dislike fries and avoid them when eating burgers, however these fries somehow make their burgers even better. They offer an upgraded kind of fries, I forget the exact name, their bigger and apparently made from higher quality potatoes. I personally didn't taste much of a difference and I liked both equally although the special fries did come in a larger quantity and freshly fried. The fries come with your choice of flavoured mayo: pesto, Chipotle (my favourite) and garlic. Lastly I have to compliment the staff. Friendly service, happy to help answer any questions, and patient and helpful. The manager was incredibly proactive in helping me find out what happened to a bag I thought had been stolen there, even though it was late at night and he wasn't on the clock. Turned out I had misplaced my bag somewhere else in my sleep deprived state and I was quickly able to find it thanks to his help. My only complaint is that the bathroom door isn't well labeled and looks like it leads to a kitchen or to storage. Read more

My office goes to eat here at least 2 times a week for lunch. Great service- quick and polite. The burgers are great- juicy, made on the spot, with fresh ingredients, and not overly greasy to the point of a soggy bun. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys a good ... burger! Read more

The burgers here are really good, prepared with fresh toppings right in front of you. The prices are also reasonable considering that you wouldn't be saving much by getting the junk that McD or similar are offering. What I really want to highlight here though, are the fries.
