Recently went here to grab some lunch for take out. Of course it was really busy with online orders and customers walking in..we placed our order and didn't expect a specific time frame for getting our order, 5 minutes go by and we noticed many of the people waiting (some ... were before us, others came in after us) were getting their orders quickly, We just figured the people who came in after us had easy and quick orders..so another 5 minutes goes by and so many people came in after us and they were getting their orders . So i went to ask about our order expressing how many people came after us and left with their orders and we were still waiting. I was told "hey we have many orders" He was smiling but was clearly giving me attitude..I went to sit down and continued to wait. One of the staff came to the window with which I thought was my order to only be told with an attitude "no , it's not yours" so at this point I we had been waiting close to 20 minutes with no order but about 20 people had come and gone..I went up again and I would assume it was the new owner, or manager..no idea. I explain to him how long we have been waiting, how many people came and went..he apologizes and gives use one free root beer..to share I would assume... We are english speaking and we feel that were being discriminated against because we are english...something we deal with almost everyday living in Quebec of which I was born and raised here. I speak french but I just happened to be speaking english when I ordered and I'm sure if I had spoken french we would have been treated differently. It's a shame because I have been going to this place since I was a kid and I love the food..not sure if I will be going back unfortunately.. Read more
