Brasserie T! - Montreal, Quebec

Dissappointing. Service was very poor. Excellent cocktail, la Rosée Boréal. It arrived half way through my salad. Annoying. Salad was boring mix of baby lettuce and a few endive leaves. It was surprisingly under dressed - and this is coming from someone who typically prefers less dressing ... than more. And, it really needed a good hit of fresh pepper but waiter was no where to be found. I ordered the cheese burger with fries. Fries were nothing special, may be if it was served fresher, it would have been a hit. Burger had mixed of breadcrumbs - not to my preference. My friend ordered the same main and we both found our burgers to be overly salty. Our plates were cleared by non wait staff, which were very good at filling our water glasses through out our dinner. We were hoping for better luck with dessert/coffee. Waited half an hour for waiter to stop by to offer dessert menu but he never did. Was finally able to flag him down to get the bill. Oh yeah, and for some strange reason, their plumber was wonky. The sink to wash your hands (bathroom), only had freaking ice cold water (and soap). Had much higher expectations. Came here yesterday for brunch with a group of lovely foodies. It's a good thing the company was great because the service and food were not so much. I ordered the eggs with lamb sausage and beans ($18) and lamb should not be made as a sausage! The beans were flavorless ... and I feel like one slice of toast (it's cut in half) was not enough! The service was really slow and not so friendly. I wouldn't recommend this place for brunch and will not be returning. With mediocre food and slow service, you can find better out there! Read more

We had so much fun here! It is right downtown. There is almost always an event, or a laser light show going on nearby. The food is exceptional. It may be challenging for non foodies. (because it's interesting) Enjoy bone marrow, charcuterie, the most amazing head cheese ever, escargot, foie ... gras, pate, lobster, mushrooms (like you just dug them out from under your bed), yes there may be eggs and the fluffiest creme filled pastries you've ever lied you didn't eat. Excellent experience and ambiance! Food was delicious! It's not cheap, due to location and style, but it was totally worth it. The salmon with fennel was super tasty, the gratin au chèvre too! Great choices of wine. The staff was kind and helpful. Dessert was spectacular!

Everything and more you would expect from the sister restaurant of Toque. Amazing staff, cocktails, food and atmosphere. I went here for a quick lunch and was surprised at every turn. The sautéed mushrooms with egg were eye opening and the steak was to die for. If you are looking ... for the experience of toque without breaking the bank, this is a must visit! Read more
