Great place to go! I go here every once in a while with my family, staff is understanding and helpful! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great breakfast place!

First time visit this place , ambiance and service was very good , we had breakfast Bene joe vege and blueberry pancakes and both were good , coffee was amazing and we got refill , staff was very efficient and friendly.

Placed a phone order to come pick up in 30 minutes. I arrive 40minutes later and they still didn't have the drinks or the food ready. They definitely forgot to place my order when I called, but instead of owning their mistake said that they wanted to wait for me ... to arrive to have it fresh. A Doordash driver also had to leave because it was taking too long. They are too short staffed. I know there's a shortage, but pay your employees more and create a healthy work environment so they stay and keep the customdrs happy. Read more

I have been at other l'Oeufrier locations with good service but this was my first visit to this location at Chabanel and I will never go here again. Where do I start. I'll try to keep it short (but how do I keep this short?).... 1. I ordered my eggs ... over well; but I received them close to over easy. They call the restaurant l'Oeufrier but theirs eggs are super small. 2. My husband asked for bacon; but he received sausages instead. 3. The server asked asked us white or brown bread? We were four people. Two of us asked for white and the other two asked for brown. So, if I do my math right, that would be four white & four brown. Instead we received five bread and only one was a brown bread. They said that they would bring us more but never did. 4. They gave a tiny container of syrup with each plate and I mean really tiny container of syrup which is smaller than a McDonald's dipping sauce that is to cover my two pancakes, fries, eggs and toast. It was so small that three of us asked for an extra container of syrup. I wanted to ask for more because I love a lot of syrup on everything and that is only when we find out that the really tiny containers of syrup cost $2 extra for each! When I heard this, I quickly said, no do not bring me anymore as I did not want to pay so much and ate my pancakes dryer than usual. It would have been nice if the server had told us of the extra cost at our first request; instead he said that it was common knowledge and that everyone knew of the extra cost....well apparently not since I knew nothing of this sort. He apologized and said he wouldn't charge us for the extra syrup; but when I got the bill, he charged us extra. 5. This place is extremely noisy. Too much noise between the blenders across from our table, the loud banging from the kitchen further away. It's a small restaurant with not too much space. 6. Not sure of the parking meter on a Sunday, we asked the server about the parking meters and he said that it's Sunday and parking is free. Well good thing when we left we didn't get any parking ticked because it was not free after 1 pm. 7. I like service to be with smiling faces. Instead, I am serves with people who seem to not enjoy their jobs and wish they could be elsewhere. It was not very inviting. 8. No one checked in on us to see if everything was okay. 9. I don't drink coffee; but even coffee is extra. Would I recommend this location? No Would I go back? Only if I have no other option. Never been to L’Oeufrier before but it’s a breakfast/brunch chain with 35 locations in Quebec. They claim to be the original inventors of the breakfast poutine. Our waitress was very patient and accommodating for our table that had several individuals with dietary restrictions. - Le stimulateur ($8.00) - Coffee ($1.00) - an extra ... $1.00/person to add unlimited Café Lavazza coffee. - Béné joe trop de smoked meat ($19.95) - oh my lord, the home style potatoes were delicious. Easily the best thing on my plate. - Martin en kayak au lac aux castors ($15.95) - the buckwheat crepe tasted very healthy (aka. bland). Texture is an acquired taste. - Le pas un autre grève s.v.p.! ($17.50) - found the mac and cheese under seasoned and underwhelming. - Pedro se tappe un ironman ($19.95) - my sister’s grilled cheese with smoke meat. - Build your own bowl - my mom asked for a bowl of smoked meat ($6.50) and potatoes ($3.50). She also ordered a side of asparagus ($1.50). Basically, a poutine bowl without the sauce. Honestly, this was the best way to order. Decent chain eats at L’Oeufrier. 3.5 stars. Read more
