L’Oeufrier - Montreal, Quebec

The best brunch place in Montreal. My partner is obsessed for brunch and we tried many many places, but none beats L'Oeufrier. We especially love the blueberry pancakes, the mashed potatoes and the sausages. The manager is super nice and attentive as well!

I was very surprised to see how fresh and tasty everything was! Its a nice breakfast spot thats very busy! We were lucky to get a table for 6 in no time and when the food came out, everyone killed their plates! The portions were very nice and you will ... leave FULL. Portions are very large and food is overall good. Scramble eggs were a little over cook on our order but other than that, food was good and more than enough. Wait staff were friendly and nice. A great place for brunch with a wide variety of choices and a laid-back vibe serving egg-topped poutines, waffles & other specials. I had a delicious avocado toast “La Louis Phillipe en Crete” with feta cheese, tomatoes, onions, olives, oregano, poached egg and arugula salad. They have also many vegetarian/vegan options and ... it’s a lovely place for breakfast or brunch with friends. Service is good and staff is very friendly, always welcoming you with a smile. Absolutely perfect breakfast place… bar none, honestly. Incredibly wide-ranging menu, with a portion size suitable for a lumberjack and definitely worth sharing. Conveniently located immediately proximal to Autoroute 40 (and on our way home), with plenty of available street parking and fast, friendly, knowledgeable bilingual service and prompt seating (as ... soon as we walked in), L’Oeufrier (Villeray) was truly one of the highlights to our visit. Our party of three selected a choice of noisette banana crepe and breakfast poutine, and it blew us away - the poutine (no French fries, but rather thinly sliced roasted potatoes) with hollandaise, flavourful gravy, shallots, and fried eggs was some the best we’d had in Montréal, truly, while the crêpe - magnifique! The coffe was great too! The place was hopping when we arrived, but despite the busy-ness we were seated immediately and got our orders promptly, with a good deal of friendly, informative service as to the selections available.
