We haven't been here for ages but we thoroughly enjoyed this visit. There was just a short queue so we were seated straight away. The decor is a bit gloomy (mostly brown) but the photos of the Madeleine Islands help cheer things up. Notices on tables asking people to ... speak softly if using phones were welcome but even so it's a family restaurant so it was somewhat noisy. Coffee arrived promptly together with menus, and then our order was taken. We ordered a Benedictine and another cooked breakfast. The plates arrived quickly looking really good, and the food tasted excellent. The portions cover the plate, with plenty of fruit. Coffees were topped up several times during the meal. Be ready to wait 45min-1h after ordering. Prices are not high, service is okay. Eggs were not cooked as ordered (over hard). Crepe did not taste fresh. At some point I asked someone if our orders had been lost, and she replied there is a lot of people and few servers. Why ... not hire more then? Pay at counter, no amex accepted. Not going back! Very delicious breakfast. I ordered Benedict with Salmon. Well balance with fruits. Lobster sandwich was recommended as well.

This place is amazing. My only regret is that i waited so long to go there. It's a gem, and i recommend everyone go there and try it for themselves. The food was amazing, the service was fast, and the staff was very friendly. My coffee cup was never empty. A great place for breakfast and brunch, it's a cozy and comfortable place, offering great service. The Benedictine with ham I had was DELICIOUS and fresh fruits and potatoes were prefect also. I will come back again and again 😀
