Recommended, easily approached from Mont Royal metro. I had hard time to decide between a bowl of falafel and shawarma (both are vegan), which I ended up ordering a mix of the two. This is not formally on the menu; I highly recommend to add this combo to the menu. As ... you can see from the pic. the bowls size is generous. Everything is fresh, and the bowls content is highly rich. The service was fine, while I believe that the concept there is more of a self service: You pay in advance, take your own utensils and encourage to take off your plates to the cart. The menu which is also displayed outside is very clear and transparent. The bowls prices are reasonable, consider all the above . I find the pita sandwiches to be too pricy ($9.95 before tax), comparing to other places, and to the price of bowls. I'll definitely be back. My recommendation to the owner: 1) add a combo of falafel & shawarma to the menu 2) Look into reducing the pita sandwiches prices ================================================ An update: There were 3 recent issues, which I less like 1) I always got the bowl combo of half falafel and half shawarma (also see below), for the same price of just falafel or just shawarma. Today I was asked to add extra $4 for the split, which is around 25% price spike. I left the place without purchasing; what a way to lose a loyal client. 2) The business did not bother to respond to my review. 3) I was happy that last time I did not have falafel balls. The employee approached those with her hand (no gloves), which we also used for cashier and money. Public health is a concern! ================================================= TIP: Try to get a bowl which is a mix of half of two dishes: falafel and shawarma. THEY SHOULD NOT CHARGE YOU MORE FOR THAT. Only once I was refused for such, meaning asked to pay more, which I did not agree to. This combination this is awesome at a great price - less than $15 after tax! Read more
I was excited to tried their falafel since it had a good reviews. All the menu was only available in french but the cashier spoke English. They do have yummy falafel bowl. I read in the review it used to have sweet potatoes in your bowl but not anymore. So you have to ... order sweet potatoes fries for the side now. Cute place on mont-roval avenue. Read more
The Falafel 🧆 tastes authentic and their bowls are nicely presented. Overall a quite tasty meal, although the optionality is very limited. The space is very warm and full of wooden tables and chair. They have large open windows and a good amount of outdoor seating as well.
Absolutely amazing vegan food at a reasonable price. The tempeh bowl is so filling and just the right balance of grains, greens, and protein. The "hippie sauce" is really creamy and yummy too. I went here 3 times in my 3 days visiting Montreal (not just this location though). The ... setting of this restaurant is definitely more casual and plain than the location by the bus station, but the staff is very friendly and everything is clean. You have to try this place if you're a vegan/vegetarian in Montreal! Read more
$5 for an amazing pita sandwich. The pita is so delicious and fresh, and it holds the sandwich together well. Lots of windows for a nice view outside for people watching. Lots of tables haven’t been cleared or wiped. All the chairs are very uncomfortable. 15 minute wait for my food ... when there were 7 people in front of me and 2 people behind me. Read more
