Foonzo - where games and beer join forces! From old-school to classic video-games (multiple consoles), to board games, and the more contemporary ones such as Cards Against Humanity, this is a very laid back bar, that at times feels like a student lounge. Gamers, nerds and beer drinkers are all ... welcome. You aren’t here per se for the selection of drinks, but to have fun! That said, Foonzo also spares us from drinking the truly commercial beers out there. And if you ever get hungry in the middle of a session of 007, Mario Kart or Monopoly, you are welcome to have any food delivered to the bar, or smuggle in your leftovers. You can’t get any cozier then this! Hurray Foonzo for being one of the few bars in the city with such a concept. Haven't been to a place like this before: Game consoles are dotted around at various tables. You just need to give your ID to get a game and controller. List of games are on the walls throughout and there are board games, foosball, etc too. Beers we're good but a ... tad more pricey than I expected ($7-9) but hey, you get to play games for free so I was totally willing to pay the extra dollar or two per drink. Read more

What a great hidden gem. kinda hidden in the "seedy" area (downstairs from one XXX massage parlor and across from another). But this place is worth it. Open until 3am where the drinks are delicious and the games are free to play. Drinks we're probably the priciest I've had in Montreal, ... but my amaretto sours we're delicious (With fresh lime, not sour mix) and worth it. Cute names for their signature cocktails too! This place is definitely worth it because they have all the different old school consoles with all of the classic games. Love that they had so many different board games and foozeball, as well. Drinks are delicious. Relaxed and super fun atmosphere. We left to go explore and ended up coming back!
