The best pain au chocolat that I've tasted so far. The staff are helpful and accommodating. The breads look so yummy and enticing. We'll be back for sure.

This is a really wonderful shop. I visit friends in Montreal about once a year and come back to Mamie Clafoutis each time I visit specifically for the Abricotine and pistachio croissants. They are so delicious and well made. The staff is always patient, efficient and friendly too. It's a ... nice place to sit and enjoy a coffee and pastry. I appreciate that they have filter coffee and that it is also very good. I have had sandwiches too and they are also very nice. It might not be possible to find something that wasn't highly enjoyable here. Read more

Mamie Clafoutis serves an impressive array of pastries, of which the o mon dieu (chocolate croissant), chausson aux pommes, and the classic butter croissant remain our top choices when in Montreal. Their loft style boulangerie allows patrons to enjoy a separate seating space upstairs (plus there's a nicely tuned piano ... too). 4/5 as the chocolate almond croissant, latte, and flat white fell...flat for us. Chocolate almond croissant hardly had any chocolate, and the espresso drinks were a little bland for us. Otherwise, will be back for the other pastries next time we're in town. Read more

Great place to grab coffee and work! The chocolate and pistachio croissant is amazing!!

Hands down the best croissant I've had. As a huge croissant connoisseur, gotta say this place exceeded all my expectations. The croissants are so crispy on the outside with the layers adding to the crunch and it soft inside with the almond and chocolate filling made to perfection - not ... too sweet or too gooey.
