Totally gutted. I live close by but had never gone to this bakery before. Saw online that it was croissant day so I thought it was a fantastic chance for me to try their different croissants. Turns out that it was only the basic, plain ones that were on ... the promotion. To add insult to injury, the cashier was really rude and the croissants were heavy and they have a burnt taste. Provigo does nice light, fluffy ones for a third of the price. Fantastic way to lose a potential customer. Read more

Great staff, always smiling. I can't deny the love I feel every time I go in and smell the fresh smell of baked bread! Or is it the nice front view of the church as I sip my coffee? Not to mention the one time my GF lost her handbag ... and the staff had picked it up and kept it safe behind the counter: awesome people! Read more

Best bread in this part of the city. Great selection of breads, at about half what you'd pay from large commercial bakery (Premiere moisson etc). Also, they have a great selection of deserts. Also, if you go early you can get day olds for half price, or a big bag ... of pastries for pennies. My go to for dinner parties and weekend breakfasts. Read more

I love this place! They make great bread and pastries like croissants. The girls are always polite and in the morning you can get bread half price from the day before.

Did someone mentioned blue cheese bread? Because theirs is amazing. If you enjoy snug and quaint atmospheres, you're at the right place. Great selection of teas and great sandwiches.
