Looked for an early Saturday morning fresh bread, and got what I wanted. It's not that cheap ($7.30), however, the taste and freshness are heaven! I enjoyed amazing sour dough pizza with a crispy yet chewy crust and fresh toppings. The pastry was also tasty. The cozy atmosphere and charming furniture made for a delightful dining experience. So let me start with their bread. They are just absolutely delicious, always fresh and tasty. Made with local ingredients and their sourdough are just so tasty. Now let's get to the pastries, they have great chocolatine but the best of best for me are their foundant chocolat. Just the right mix ... of half-baked and crusty. The bread is absolutely amazing. I tried a variety of bread, treats, drinks, and food from here during my short stay in Montreal and it was all excellent. My favourites include the brioche and the pain chocolate.

We were leaving from Montreal for a trip and we decided to stop at the Boulangerie "Pain a tartan" to buy coffee and something to eat in the road. We live relatively close, 20 minutes walking distance, but we had never been to this place in Ontario before and we ... liked it. The place is very cozy, with a charming and fun decoration, with good options of sweets, quiches and the breads, we bought baguette and a sweet bread to taste and it was really tasty. The coffee is also good, we would prefer little stronger and the service was fast and helpful. Looks like they also have Vegetation and Vegan options.
