The overall experience was really good! The server was very nice and patient and gave us lots of suggestions on their signature dishes. Both dishes were good, but not as good as I’ve expected lol. No overcharge on tips. Make sure to call the restaurant 20mins beforehand to reserve for a ... clay pot rice if you would like to try it! That dish would take a loooong time to wait! Read more
I heard about the home made noodles here and had to try it out. Took a simple Wonton Noodle soup and I must say the noodles were exactly the right consistency and flavor. The wonton itself was very juicy and large. The broth taste decent too, lots of Napa cabbage ... flavor. All in all quick in and out soup for under 10$ tax in. Hard to find anymore anywhere in Montreal as even a Pho goes for 15$ on average now. Read more
July 2021 a small restaurant just on the edge of China town. Table for a few would generally be available, though the interior is outdated. Certain items are decent. The noodles which I'm told are house made are in fact pretty good. Portions are small especially where take out is ... concerned. Meat portions are small, but decent flavors. The shrimp dumpling is small for $6. Price to portions, seems a bit more expensive. Flavors are ok overall, but don't see the uniqueness here. Read more
It’s a small and inconspicuous restaurant in China town. We really loved Hong Kong milk tea and shrimp wonton noddles. The hot pot rice with sausage/ chicken were great too. It seems like Korean stone pot rice. The main dish’s price is really reasonable and big portion. Maybe we’ll try ... some dim sum next time. Cash only. Read more
This was a refreshing stop - noodles and dumplings and broth with the requisite vinegar and chili oil. I reverted to my 8 year old self slurping down the whole bowl. And where else serves stir fried lettuce with oyster or shrimp paste sauce? Nowhere anymore...except here. Noodle soup dish with ... dumplings is under $8 - do it!! Read more
