We were 5 people. The Peanut butter dumpling taste needs improvement and it was cold. Steak was average. The other food was average. The lava cake was cold. I would not Revisit. There was no pride in making the food. It used to be an amazing place. It became more commercial. but the price remained high.. For the ... price we paid I expected it to be a better experience. Visiting to Celebrate a Friend's special day, the automatic Gratuity, The volume of food ,salad was miniscule for the price, Prices were exorbitant, compared to the quantity of food. New Yorker in for the New Year here. Chops was an outstanding experience from beginning to end. My brother and I were going in late after a show so we called prior to place our order to go and Andrea at the front desk happily invited us to sit and ... enjoy. By the time we got there our apps were already placed on our table ( tuna tartar and salmon tacos) both 10/10. Our waiter Amil was very professional and accommodating. We also ordered 3 of the special roles- probably some of the best sushi I’ve ever had including famous non kosher restaurants in NYC. Food was good. But the peanut butter dumpling was cool for $10 I expect the food to be hot. And on the menu it says grill salmon but when I got my plate it looked like it was pan seared still very good. I had roasted vegetables with it. All around superb! Visiting from NY so we know Kosher, and this place ranks in our top 5 all time. Our host Amin recommended the entree of lamb cops and ribeye for 2 and it was BULLS EYE. We will definitely return.
