One of the best banh mi in the area ! My boss(e)s's were the one who suggested me to try at that place and I bought a few for my boss(e)s's and I to share together! Has a lot of things there too like sauces, drinks & I saw some of ... my childhood chips/cookies! (I had to grab a pocky there) They do banh mi on the order and it taste really good ! Whenever I visit Montreal, this place is a must go for us. The bread is fresh, slightly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Ingredients are all very fresh. The ladies take good care assembling each sandwich and evenly distributing the ingredients. Taste is ... unique, and is moreish. I don’t know exactly what it is, probably their sauce or pate but it is so darn good! I haven’t found a better place in Toronto than this. Crazy busy viet market serving yummy viet food. We tried out their Banh Mi, bread was a bit hard for us but it was very tasty. Also got the Bun Rieu (husband approved) and the Banh Canh which was thick rice vermicelli noodles instead of Banh canh but the broth ... and everything was delicious. Iced Vietnamese coffee was also on point. There's only one large table (fits 8) and some counter seating (probably 4-5 seats). And the rest is the market and where people line up to order. Pleasantly surprised by the variety offered and my oh my does it taste good! Sitting inside slurping on my noodles really makes me feel like I'm in Vietnam. There are lots of amazing selections to bring back home, including authentic vietnamese desserts.
