Bistro K2 Sushi - Montreal, Quebec

I found this place on the Google maps search. It had great reviews so we thought to try it out. It seems small but it is big in flavor and atmosphere. It is an all-you-can-eat sushi place. We went without a reservation and we were able to get a table ... right away. The staff were very kind and recognized us anglophones right away and adjusted their approach with ease. The food was good and plentiful as with most modern sushi places they have the tablets to constantly order food. The price for a weekend dinner was $42 per person. And for the 4 of us and some Saki it came out to almost $300. It was worth it with the amount that we ordered. The service was a bit slow but it was dinner time on a holiday weekend and it was busy on both floors. I would go again if I were going out to dinner and wanting volume and quality. Read more

Well, it wasn't my first time here, but the experiences were different. The first time, we were on the ground floor, the waiters were friendly, the food was served quickly, and the atmosphere was nice with fresh food. There were six of us. The second time, we were four people and seated ... upstairs. The waiters were not friendly. We were only there for an hour and a half, and they asked us to leave. Orders were very slow; they brought dessert first and then the sushi tray! The food was good, but it made me hesitant about my future choices. The photos clearly show the differences. In the first experience, all orders were served together, and everything was good. In the second experience, the orders were very slow, and they took a long time to serve, which made us not enjoy the food. I just wondered why we tipped for service we didn't receive :)) Read more

The place was nice with friendly people and cute decorations, but it was a bit crowded. The best part was the yummy food. But they messed up some orders even after we reminded them, which was a bummer. Still, it was mostly good overall.

The food is pretty good. Smaller menu than a lot of places but what they have was well selected. I don't see fried milk often and it tasted great. Only down side from my visit was their matcha ice cream looked green but it tasted like banana and no hint ... of matcha? It was weird, but everything else was well done. Read more
