We were visiting Montréal for the day and wanted to have dinner somewhere nice. After doing some research on Google, we came across this restaurant that was highly rated (and for good reason). We didn't have a reservation, but we were seated quickly after walking in. They have a lovely ... outdoor patio in the back, which we chose to sit at as the weather was beautiful that evening. Service was friendly and fast, and the food options were all delicious. We tried a number of dishes, including soups, salads, and appetizers. Their main dishes were spectacular, and the food seemed to be prepared fresh. I wish I had more pictures to share, but we were hungry and didn't wait to take photos before digging in. Amazing afghani restaurant! Delicious food, fantastic service, authentic and interesting decor. Our waiter was the most delightful young man and we were able to talk about our Persian connection. We ordered the mantoo to start, kofta, and chicken kabob. Everything was delicious, seasoned/spiced perfectly, and very filling. Will definitely come back again.

Best place to eat the best lamb shank in town. Perfect exotic ambiance , friendly staff, excellent service, delicious dishes and BYOW! You will not be disappointed. A must if you are in town.

This is the best Afghani food I’ve ever tasted till now.
