Whole Foods Market - Markham, Ontario

Other than the bakery staff, I don't find the staff at this store to be particularly friendly. And, for a store that charges premium prices, the amount of products that are past expiration is astounding! I know sometimes items that are past their "best-before" dates are still edible, but on ... one occasion it was a dairy product that was past due. Another unpleasant thing I've noticed is they have these staff who congregate - I don't know if they are there discussing inventory or what not, but there are usually 4-5 of them and they do not acknowledge customers who try to maneuver around them to get to products. Even fellow customers would move around to allow others to pass through, but they just stand there and continue their conversations. I come here when I am looking for specialty items such as buttermilk and overall higher quality brands. They have a great selection of vegan alternatives, fresh produce and I have been enjoying the hot/prepared foods. Be sure to visit their coffee counter for a delicious honey vanilla latte!

The cream cheese twisted bread is to die for!! The lemons are the best I've ever had. I do love the granola cereal. It's a beautiful store. The fruit section looks so good. The carrot cake is delicious! I always buy a slice. I can't say enough about ... the muffins!! I can't wait to go again! Read more

Salmon was fresh and had no fishy smell to it. I always come here for seafood related purchases.

I love whole food bakery selection! Everything tastes so good especially their blueberry scone, mini creme brûlée tart and cake ! I don’t recommend their big creme brûlée tart as it’s too dense. Love their latte ! Obviously everything here is expensive but you get what you paid for. Quality !
