The Keg Steakhouse + Bar – Masonville - London, Ontario

Wow the keg has really gone downhill. I no longer consider this restaurant a higher end place. First, the table we sat at was dirty and there was dust and crumbs along the edge of the booth. We ordered the shrimp cocktail and chicken wings for apps. The shrimp was ... warm, fishy and was sitting on a bed or brown lettuce. The wings were not cooked and red all in the inside. The salads were warm and half the veggies were limp and old. I was so disappointed and told the waiter. He apologized and I mean it's not his fault. But the manager came and also apologized. He said he would take care of it for us, which he did because he removed it off the bill. Anyway I won't be going back here for a very long time. I will have to find a new steakhouse. Read more

Had a birthday celebration here recently, our server (Julian) was fantastic. Far and away the best keg experience we've ever had, the food was delicious and any issues were resolved quickly and effectively. Highly recommend both the location & server. Thanks for a great experience!

I had rated this a 4 star a couple years ago but I am changing my review tonight. So disappointed, my husband, baby and I went in tonight for our anniversary. We were sat at a table, given no high chair by the host. When we asked our waitress for a ... high chair we were told they no highchairs were allowed in the area we were sitting for “safety” concerns, I thought that was strange, why would we even be seated there in the first place if that was the case. Either way we agreed to move to a table where a high chair would be possible, which was directly next to the loud bustling kitchen opening. We ordered the mushroom dip, the bread that came with it was weirdly sweet and tasted burnt on the outside. The Billy miner pie, which is usually a family favourite, definitely has undergone a recipe change. It used to taste like ice cream now it tastes like mostly whipped topping, it’s so airy and weird. Not a single refill on our drinks were offered, and a fountain pop is $4.50 these days, with half the glass being ice. Finally when we paid the bill, I had a really old style gift card for part of the purchase. I asked to keep the empty card because I thought it looked cool and the waitress told me I wasn’t allowed. Finally she took my visa off the table and tapped it for me after swiping my gift card which I thought was inappropriate. Read more

My best steak experience was at Keg. We ordered Top Sirloin and RIB steak and both were so delicious, cooked very well, and in an appripriate amount. I will literally never not love it here!! The food is honestly the best!! I can't get enough!! However, we went at the end of October for a birthday but the server seemed slightly rude, or indifferent and just didn't seem like Keg material and we go there pretty much ... for every special occasion and never ever had any problems with the server always fantastic and friendly but this time around she just wasn't that friendly, and I totally get it people go through things and maybe she had a bad table and it set her night off and that's okay just she didn't seem very friendly or nice.
