Rico’s Pizzeria - London, Ontario

Ordered a pizza and waited for it. Got home with the pizza and dips. Spicy cheddar dips were expired. It's almost July 2024 and they expired April 11/24. That set the precedence for me to not really enjoy my meal as it immediately made me wonder what other items were ... used that were past their prime in order to save a few cents. I had high expectations of finding a good pizza place based on all the recommendations. Payed $30 for just the large pizza that I picked up myself. Pizza was a little too oily for how thin it was. Sauce was the perfect amount and acidity. Pepperoni was tasty. Onions were sparse. The hot peppers surprisingly packed a punch for heat - I love that. Overall, as my first impression: a more appropriate price would have been closer to $24. A place that cuts corners to save money is not something I personally want to spend my money at. Suggestions: do an inventory count and remove expired/damaged product instead of trying to recoup your losses. Read more

Being from Burlington and being in London for work i wanted to try a local place. I read some reviews about Rico's and it didn't disappoint. A little pricy but for the fresh ingredients and taste it's worth it! The pizza was hot and fresh with home made sauce being made ... right in front of you. Very friendly and great food. It's hard to do an honest review without factoring in the cost. $30 for a large is outrageous. If they cut the price by 1/3 to $20 it would still be expensive. Now, objective review. It was okay. Very floppy. Very greasy. Not a whole lot of flavor. My 10-year-old ... ate half a slice and didn't like it. When you spend $30 on a pizza you expect something unforgettable. That, this was not. Pizza is crunchy no flavour literally tastes worse then a delicio frozen pizza and it’s full of grease and crust was burnt besides the food service is good 👍

So I was recommended to try this place and I was told this is the best Italian style pizza joint in town. Rico did not disappoint. The service was excellent. Pizza was excellent. It does have the old-school Italian feel to the restaurant. espresso cups on table LLBO as well, ... although I did not partake. I love how they know their customers by their name it is a place for people to go hang out. Have a slice and maybe an espresso. I’m definitely going back to try the steak sandwich and Panzoz I ordered a small pepperoni easy on the cheese. He made the exactly the way that I asked. Thank you Rico I will be coming back. Read more
