We had read that this was one of the top 100 patios in Canada. It did not disappoint. Loved the atmosphere and seating outside. As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted with warm, friendly hostesses. Once we were seated our very friendly and knowledgeable server came ... over. She recommended the sparkling red wine, and it was a great recommendation for the patio and a nice summer evening. I had the fettuccine pasta. The sundried tomatoes had that perfect sweet/robust flavour. I loved how the chicken was nicely shredded, not dry. Even when we left we were politely thanked as we were walking out. Very well run restaurant!! Read more
Later on a Tuesday I dropped into Dolcetto Modern Italian restaurant with gluten-feee options for a light meal. It wasn’t too packed so the noise level was good and some of the staff were training on the wine list and doing wine tastings at the bar where I sat. I ... chose the Funghi White pizza on gluten-free with a glass of Sicilian Syrah. Both delicious and a pairing made in heaven. I could resist the budino cioccolato for dessert and it was gone in seconds and ran my finger inside the cup to capture the remaining chocolate ecstasy. Finished with an espresso macchiato and a smile. Can’t wait until we meet again 💋 Chris > Read more
Another great experience here. The staff is always so friendly and have strong knowledge about the food and wine list. Sat on the patio and Courtney was nice enough to offer us blankets! The food never misses here if you’re craving good Italian.
Dolcetto is an amazing place for an Italian food experience. Every bite is full of flavors, and their cocktails taste really good! They also have a good wine selection. Atmosphere is lovely and attention is 100%!
We dined in after my daughter’s graduation. Had booked this place through Open Table. We don’t know London well and would never have stumbled upon this place. All I can say is WOW!! The food was outstanding. Real Italian food. The meatballs were delicious and just like an authentic Nonna ... made them. We also ordered bruschetta and it was delicious. All of our pasta entrees were fabulous. Again I can’t say enough about the food. Great flavours , good sized portions and great presentation. The wine list is outstanding! Our server was friendly attentive and helpful when we couldn’t decide. This is a lively restaurant and if I’m ever in London again I would definitely go back. Read more
