Good Italian restaurant. Their food is not the best to my taste but they have some interesting dishes. The personnel is attentive and polite. It was an interesting experience. The hostess kind of set the mood, as she was a little brusque and slightly unpleasant. Didn't make eye contact, and when we asked to sit on the patio made it seem like it was jam packed and a bad idea. There was a lot ... of room. Anyway, after that and we were seated and she went away (although I watched her walk by several more times looking absolutely miserable, but hey, maybe it was just a bad day) things improved. The server was lovely and attentive, and honestly the food was awesome. I was very pleased and the portion sizes were substantially larger than anticipated. I would come back again, but man, be prepared to nosh on a lot of good food. Would have given 5 stars but the initial welcome wasn't very welcoming. Kind of put a bad taste in our mouths. Read more

This place is wonderful from the atmosphere to the food. The whole ambiance is warm and inviting with a lovely open kitchen in the center. The service was impeccable. Our server was on the ball with drink refills and maintained a positive and patient attitude with our questions about our menu. Our ... food was delicious. We ordered crab cakes for the Appy, scallop risotto for my husband and chicken Parm for myself. I found both were highly flavorful and all the flavors complimented each other splendidly. A late dinner at this Italian restaurant was a pleasant choice. The atmosphere and service was good overall. Our waitress, while slow to eventually get to our table (9:00 p.m., so not incredibly busy) was apologetic for yhe delay, and very attentive afterwards.
