A London institution, the atmosphere takes you back in time. The night we went they were struggling to keep up with service and we felt bad for the server, who was very friendly but also clearly overwhelmed. Service aside, the food was simple but excellent. We've been going to chaucers for a few years before the Knights game. It has good food and is a quick walk to the arena. It always feels dark and the temperature varies drastically based on where you are in the restaurant. The bathrooms are FREEZING all ... the time. I feel bad for the servers as there only ever seems to be 1 person on at a time and it gets busy. If you want your bill, I would be prepared to ask for it well in advance because the server WILL be busy. We enjoy it here, you just have to know how to work their system to your needs. Read more

A very cozy British pub atmosphere with very attentive staff and great comfort food. The place has a bit of an odour likely due to being a carpeted barroom, but otherwise excellent.

Very pleasant, warm (temperature and ambiance) with a fireplace. We try to make it at least a couple times a month, have a beer or wine and the food is good too. Take a look at the stir fry and pasta pictures - tasty and filling.
