Firehouse Subs - London, Ontario

First time customer! Card machines were not working, would not except a $100.00 . Both bread on subs were completely backwards, and the extra tomatoes were on the opposite sub that they were requested to be on. The 2 young people working could ... have cared less that we were there, and were not helpful when trying to order. Halfway through making the sub we were told that they didn't have what was ordered. First time coming to Firehouse subs, as my partner and I had heard the food was delicious and it's a unique atmosphere with a firefighting set up. The location is easy to find, ample parking, and it was very clean. There's a great selection of tasty subs. We selected the Steak ... and Cheese, and the Club on a Sub. We were both very satisfied with these subs, they were hot, fresh, and very tasty. The whole wheat subs tasted great. Our experience was ruined by a female employee that had blue hair that served us. She was incredibly rude and was not friendly. Not a very welcoming atmosphere. This location needs an employee taking orders that is friendly, outgoing, and makes you want to be there. It's way more than just a sub place, it's a next level sub, hoagie, sandwich... Starting to pop more in Ontario, but nice to hit when see one. I got a promo special, pepperoni meatball Sub with provolone which was pretty damn good!!!

The young man that took the order was full, isn’t nice and a good communicator. Gentleman that took the order also made the sandwiches as in conversation he was one of the owners sons, very calm, very pleasant and and well mannered. The food was amazing. Didn’t ask for better. I ordered online to avoid the wait as they say. The order was ready for pickup in less then 10min. I think that’s great for a busy Friday supper time order. When I arrived I noticed the place is fairly busy. However, my chopped salad was ready very quickly. The vegetables ... are better quality then other places I’ve been too. I would highly recommend eating at Firehouse Subs. The only negative I have is that I had requested utensils be included with my purchase and there were none. Read more
