King of the Pigs - London, Ontario

Went on Friday night at 7:15. WE were seated but the menus and server did not come to the table for over 10 mins. The place was not exceptionally full, about 70% capacity. Finally got to order and I ordered a quarter chicken with rice and a coke. The coke ... arrived in an amazingly ice-cold frosted beer mug which was excellent!! 5+ stars for this, however the food took 45 minutes and the plate was 80% rice and a leg of a chicken and thigh was half the size I was expecting. The chicken was way, way, way over cooked and was probably prepared at least 2+ hours ago and left warming. I could not get a fork into the outer "shell" of over cooked meat on the drumstick.Over and hour for bad service, chicken and only one side not two. The place is open with people at a bar talking to customer at tables and really is disjointedly set up. Not sure if I'll be back because only the coke was ice-cold which is the way I like it but you can get that anywhere. Sad and probably wont be back as I used to like this place. Read more

I purchase the sauce for whole family because everyone loves it. Recently the hot sauce looks watered down and had different colour and taste and consistency from original sauce .Very disappointing. We just ordered at the Hamilton location for take out the 4 person deal & a kg of pulled pork…. And wow! So impressed! The portions are very generous, the pulled pork & chicken are probably the best in town. The ribs were ok but everything else and the mild ... bbq sauce were amazing! Will definitely order again. Ordered a large order online for a party and food was ready on time for pick up. Ordering process was smooth, and easy to navigate. Food was hot, delicious, and we got lots of compliments on it. Will order again and definitely recommend! So tasty!

Come here because of the reviews. Completely not what I expected from the reviews. Server was very nice and friendly. but I should have followed my main rule.. never eat at an empty restaurant. Food was not ok and took very long for it to come.
