There were a lot of options on their menu and they were fairly friendly but the food was disappointing. I ordered the Vietnamese Pho noodles, and the beef was unseasoned and flavorless. The entirety of the soup was noodles and only a few green onions, very bland broth. I was ... very let down, Pho is one of my favourites. I feel like maybe if they narrowed their menu down and perfected the dishes they did decide to offer, it could be a lot better. Probably won't eat there again. Read more
The food took too long to show up. And it tasted horrible once it did arrive. The restaurant was so cold too. I had to put my coat back on. My kids didn't like the food either. I spent over $50 for three lunchs. This to me, is unacceptable. A lunch ... should be serviced warm, and together, and quickly. We waited over 20 mins for just the first item. Spring rolls. And they were deep fried. Had no flavor at all, just grease. Yuck!! It was another 10 mins before the next item showed up. I would have rather a meal show up at a time, not a dish at a time. I won't be going back. Read more
Got the vegetable chicken combo special, and it was definitely above than average. I'm not quite sure about the quality of the ingredients, but its close to campus thus making it pretty convenient.
A family run establishment that advertises they serve all kinds of Asian food. Places that really don't define themselves as having a specialty is always a little warning sign to see if they are actually authentic. The food is actually decent, with average portions. They offer some dishes that I ... normally like to eat at HK cafes, such as baked pork chop on rice with tomato sauce, etc. etc. That dish was decent. On days where I want just a rice dish quick and easy, I'll head over here. Quality is better than fast food outlets definitely though. As someone else also commented, they have scaled a spot in the restaurant that someone stays there when their parents are working in the restaurant. I didn't really mind as it didn't bother me at all, but for those that take in the ambiance more, this may turn them off a little bit. Read more
Went to this place with a friend to enjoy a nice meal. Was sorely disappointed when my egg noodle dish came to me both burnt and undercooked, on top of being flavourless. The pho dish my friend ordered came cooked in the wrong type of broth, and was not authentic. ... The tea we recieved was watered down to the point of being clear, colourless liquid. The bubble tea we ordered was forgotten and then hastily prepared. The measurements were off and it was pure syrup. The only redeeming factor was the service, which was polite and friendly. If you are planning on visiting an Asian restaurant in this area, do yourself a favour and stay well away from this one. Read more
