The Early Bird - London, Ontario

Had an amazing breakfast with friends! The pancake stacks were enormous, so make sure you come hungry! The service was quick, the staff were super friendly, and the relaxed atmosphere added to the charm of this hidden gem. Definitely worth a visit!

The place looked promising. But the experience was very disappointing. First, we waited to be seated. Second, we waited for the order to be cooked for about 30 minutes. Meanwhile the people at the table next to us were approached by a waiter who said that he would have to ... take their order again because there was a misunderstanding. And they came even earlier than us! Their new order arrived pretty soon. Another 7 minutes and we had our food as well. It must have been delicious, but it was cold! We decided to have it as is because the thought of another wait was unbearable. Then I suddenly felt awful strangling smell. The waiter was cleaning the next table and the smell of the cleanser was horrible. We mentioned all this to our waiter and he apologized and gave us a 6$ discount of a 40$ bill. Thank you for that. Deleted my old 5 ⭐️ review so I could add this new 5 🌟review with photos. Look at the Fat Elvis (minus fried bananas.) This has everything I want in a breakfast: French toast, bacon and peanut butter.

Visited The Early Bird for Saturday brunch and the place was buzzing with energy. The vibrant decor and lively vibes set a great tone for the morning. Service was excellent—energetic, helpful, and quick. I opted for the “Eggs and Homies” with a side of sausage. The dish was exactly as expected, ... tasty with a notably delicious hollandaise sauce that even won over someone like me who usually isn’t a fan. We also tried “The Stacker,” which was hearty and allowed us to sample different meats sandwiched between pancakes. The pancakes themselves were standard but filling. Additionally, we indulged in a crazy strawberry milkshake that seemed straight out of a carnival scene—extremely sweet but a treat for anyone with a sweet tooth. Probably the best Pancakes I've ever had. Soft and buttery on the inside and a nice crisp on the outside. The eggs benny with brisket was also great but the pancakes really stole the show.
