The Braywick Bistro - London, Ontario

Absolutely phenomenal food! I've been here several times for both an intimate dinner and a large group dinner. Food and service has always been fantastic.

We used the Braywick Bistro for some catering of our Christmas Party.... and it was wonderful. Food was great, lots of favour and the service was outstanding.. The Butter Tarts are the best.

I just went there for the first time last night, and it was an awesome experience! The waitress was very friendly and helpful, and the food was absolutely delicious (I had one of their daily specials, the shrimp stir-fry, as well as a caesar salad, and tried the scallops, cheesecake, ... and chocolate cake). I was visiting London from Philadelphia on a business trip, and stumbled upon this little gem. I wasn't expecting much from the food in London, to be quite honest, especially coming from a much larger metropolis where good food is always at your fingertips. I was so pleased to find ... this incredible place within walking distance of my hotel. The food was phenomenal, and I returned several times during the week of my stay. I had a roasted cauliflower and garlic soup with fried basil and paprika oil that blew me away. On another occasion, I had a grilled vegetable panini that was a little salty, but delicious nonethless. I asked for a garden salad, that wasn' t on the menu, and the chef put one together so willingly, and it was also delectable. It contained fresh green beans and a creamy dijon vinagrette. I also had the arugula and mushroom pasta - again, spot on. Heavy, but so satisfying. And the espresso was good to boot. Beyond all of that, I was served by one of the loveliest ladies I have ever encountered in the restaurant business. Beaming with enthusiasm and genuine sweetness, she basically runs the whole show and never gets impatient, no matter what your demands. A truly compassionate and gentle person who is exactly the type of restaurant owner the industry needs. No pretense, just concerned with providing good food, quickly, and with a smile. The food was blah... ordered the duck with fingerling potatoes and there was no au jus or sauce so very dry and boring! I had to ask for a side dish of some sort of dip, now thats bad. Service /waitress was good and polite.
