Olde London Fish & Chips - London, Ontario

I ordered for fish and chips with burger takeout over the phone. This turned out to be worst meal I had ever ordered for. Burger was badly burnt (both meat and bon), I ended up trashing it because I couldn't withstand the taste. The chips was nothing to write home ... about, doesn't look presentable and didn't taste any better. The fish was the only thing I could withstand and ended up eating just that. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING!!! The batter was nice and crispy the halibut was flaky. Scallops melt in you’re mouth. The food wasn’t greasy or oily just perfection. Ended lunch off with a banana cream pie. One of the best fish and chips spot I’ve had in a really long time.

A friend suggested we try this out the other day as she used to go often and loved it there. It was a great lunch! Delicious battered mushrooms, a really yummy burger and a plate loaded with fries. First time to Fish & Chips place. Ordered (to go) Haddock Fish & Chips from this place. Awesome fish fry, no fish small or oil smell, melts like butter in mouth. I regret for not visiting Fish & Chips till now. Those who not tried this place.. I strongly recommend to try ... once and i am sure you will get addicted. Recommended by a friend so we went for our visit while in the city and it was so worth it. Our waitress was personable and fun. The chowder was delicious and authentic!
